Minnesota Safety Council
The Minnesota Safety Council was founded in 1928 and is dedicated to preventing unintentional injuries ("accidents") through education. We are a a private, not-for-profit organization and a chapter of the National Safety Council. The Minnesota Safety Council:
- helps employers and workers make their workplaces safer.
- helps drivers learn how to protect themselves from injury on our roads.
- provides information and programs that help parents and other adults protect kids from injury
- provides materials and support for community efforts such as pedestrian safety, child car seat installation, railroad crossing safety, and safety for seniors.
South Dakota Safety
Council
The South Dakota Safety Council was founded in 1949 and is a chapter of
the National Safety Council. We are dedicated to making out state a
safer place to live: at work, at play, at home and on the way. We work
with employers, community groups and schools. We have a committed Board
of Directors, supportive volunteers, enthusiastic staff and strong
membership - all dedicated to this mission.
National Safety Council - Omaha Chapter
Safe Living, Safe Working and Safe Driving are the foundation of the injury prevention mission of the National Safety Council, Greater Omaha Chapter. The Council works with businesses and governments in the areas of on and off the job safety; business; schools, families, law enforcement and the courts in the area of traffic safety and we have many partners in community safety.
